On April 16, Guangxi Maofa Import & Export Trade Co., Ltd. (Maofa), a joint venture between C&D Paper & Pulp and Singapore’s Maohong International Group, held its opening and commissioning ceremony, marking the official launch of their jointly built 100,000-ton annual biomass pellet fuel processing, production and export project. This project is a key initiative by C&D Paper & Pulp to establish a presence in the green energy industry chain and actively respond to the national “dual carbon” strategy.

Guangxi Maofa integrates the resources, technology and market networks of both parties, leveraging the region’s abundant forestry resources and industrial foundation to produce low-carbon, clean biomass pellet fuel, providing high-quality raw materials for local paper enterprises and promoting resource recycling. Additionally, the project’s location leverages the unique geographic advantages of the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt, reducing logistics costs and enhancing export efficiency.
