C&D Inc. Initiates 1.7MW Distributed Photovoltaic Project

2024/03/01

At the end of February, C&D Clean Energy commenced the construction of a 1.7MW distributed photovoltaic project at the Shanghai C&D Logistics Center Phase II. This collaboration between C&D Clean Energy and C&D Logistics aims to promote efficient resource use and reduce carbon emissions, following the successful implementation of the Phase I 1MW project.

Located in the Shanghai C&D Logistics Center within the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the project will cover approximately 10,000 square meters of rooftop space and plans to install over 2,600 high-efficiency 660W photovoltaic panels. Over its 25-year operational life, the project is expected to generate approximately 43 million kWh of clean electricity, all of which will be consumed within the park, potentially saving the enterprise around RMB 3.8 million in electricity costs and reducing emissions by approximately 17,000 tons of standard coal and 43,000 tons of carbon dioxide.
