November 17 saw the official inauguration of the "High-quality Unit of Breastfeeding Guidance Center of Xiamen Humanity Maternity Hospital". The Guidance Center will engage in the publicity of breastfeeding with the support of China Maternal and Child Health Association to address issues of breastfeeding for mothers.

As Xiamen's first breast milk donation center, Xiamen Humanity Maternity Hospital is committed to offering donated breast milk to premature infants to promote their health. Since its founding in 2018, the breast milk donation center has received 114,2930 ml of breast milk donated by more than 200 caring mothers and offered it to more than 800 infants.

On November 15 before the inauguration date, Xiamen Humanity Maternity Hospital also opened Xiamen's first independent fetus protection ward, which mainly treats women who are 28 weeks pregnant or less and need fetus protection or suffer threatened abortion, preterm premature rupture of membranes, hyperemesis gravidarum, etc., and provides them with comprehensive, diversified and personalized solutions.
