Hon-Flex's 1.2MW Distributed Photovoltaic Power Station Connects to Grid

2022/06/30

A 1.2 MW distributed photovoltaic power station of Hon-Flex, which was financed and built by C&D Clean Energy Co., Ltd, a joint venture set up by C&D Inc. and Clenergy, went into operation on June 29, after its successful connection to the state grid.

The station is a distributed network of solar panels installed on the roofs of factory buildings. The power it generates directly goes to corporate power consumers, and any surplus is sent to the state grid, which is also readily consumed.  By estimates, over a period of 25 years, the annual average amount of power generated by the station can reach 1.48 million kilowatt hours, saving about 13,555 tons of standard coal, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 37,040 tons. This will lead to a reshuffle of technologies and resources, a better environment, and facilitate industrial transformation and upgrading.
