April 2 saw the convening of the special training on Party history learning and education organized by the Party Committee of C&D Group, which was attended by over 1,000 Party members and cadres on site and through video link. The training began with a study of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection in Fujian. A lecture was then given by Professor Niu Jun, director of the Department of Party History and Building at the Party School of CPC Xiamen Municipal Committee, entitled “Thoughts on the Changes over a Hundred Years of Hardships—The CPC’s Century-long Struggle and the Inspiration”.

Through this special study, the Group has enhanced the ideological consciousness of its vast number of Party members and cadres to “learn Party history to understand its theories, increase credibility, respect morality and be practical”. Also, with wisdom and strength drawn from the CPC’s century-long struggle, the Group unifies thoughts and actions centering on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech to engage in the development of the company’s undertakings in a better spirit.
